Web Album Maker can help you publish your photographs on the Internet. Using this application, the web album you create will allow your site visitors to browse through your pictures in a pleasant and friendly way.

It has a nice graphic user interface but some of the visual elements appear to be out of their proper locations when the program’s window is not in a maximized state, which may confuse the user. Nevertheless, the application is very easy to use. In fact, there is no complicated operation involved in the process of creating your album. You can start by importing the desired pictures. Unfortunately, JPG and PNG are the only supported image file formats. Once the photos have been added to your project, you can easily change their order. Likewise, you can edit some of the image properties, such as title, URL and description.

There are various themes to choose from and you can personalize watermarks; yet, the themes are not customizable and no additional ones can be downloaded from the developer’s site. Unluckily, you cannot perform any editing operation on the source pictures either or add transitions between them.

When tested, the application failed to show the preview properly. A limitation is that you cannot publish your album directly to a URL, so you need to send it to a standard folder. Moreover, after publishing the album, the photographs appeared to be cropped so that some important elements could not be seen.

In general, Web Album Maker is conceptually a fine application. Its main advantage is usability. However, it surely needs some improvements.
